Uvalde Health Authority

At the guidance of Texas Department of State Health Services, COVID-19 vaccine appointment scheduling is now open to all adults effective Monday, March 29.

A link for scheduling a COVID-19 vaccination with Uvalde Health Authority will now be posted each Monday morning by 10:00AM on this website. Appointment slots will be first-come, first-served.

PLEASE NOTE: TDSHS has directed vaccine providers to prioritize people 80 years old or older when scheduling appointments and accommodate anyone in that age group who presents for vaccination, whether or not they have an appointment, by immediately moving them to the front of the line. That will ensure vaccination of anyone 80 or older with as small a burden on themselves as possible. Therefore, if individuals over the age of 80 present for a vaccine, without an appointment, they will be given a vaccine regardless, even if that vaccine was otherwise accounted for by a scheduled appointment. Because of this, it is possible that even with a scheduled appointment an individual will not receive a vaccine if it was instead given to someone over the age of 80.
