Schoolview

The NAHT wants fairer and clearer accountability for our schools.

The inspection system should support us in raising standards. It should also help parents make choices for their children’s education based on clear, impartial, consistent and useful appraisals of school performance. And it should be accountable for its judgements.

As part of the NAHT’s campaign to ensure that our schools are assessed impartially and consistently, we are seeking your views on your most recent Ofsted inspection. Your experience will help expose the reality of the inspection process; what works and what doesn’t. The information gained will enable us to press for changes to make Ofsted a cornerstone of a supportive education system and a genuinely informative resource for parents.

Your answers will be used confidentially although the NAHT will require the name and address of your school for its own records. Unlike Ofsted’s Parent View, we will base our judgements on traceable data.

The survey should only take around five minutes of your time, so please take this chance to help shape a better school inspection system.

Thank you.
