Financial Advisors Review: Consumer Feedback

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment is reviewing the laws that:

• regulate financial advisers, and

• require financial service providers (which include financial advisers, banks, insurers and lenders) to register and to belong to approved dispute resolution schemes.

These laws are critical to promoting investor confidence and making sure New Zealanders get sound financial advice. It is important that we get feedback from consumers so that survey results accurately reflect current views and experiences.

We would like to invite you to take part in this short survey. The survey will not take more than 10 minutes of your time.

Please note that individual survey responses will be kept confidential. Your name and contact details will not be linked to any reporting from this survey. Survey responses will be grouped so that we can analyse patterns and trends in the information collected.

Should you wish to provide feedback on the issues presented in the more detailed Issues paper, you may do so on the MBIE website FAA review page.
