The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association is looking for the outstanding registered American Quarter Horse (AQHA) in each of the PRCA’s timed-event categories and Pick up Man.
The owner of the Nutrena “Horses of the Year” in each category will be awarded $5,000 and an AQHA bronze trophy. Second place will receive $3,000, and third place will receive $2,000.
To nominate the registered American Quarter Horse (your own or someone else’s) that you feel has excelled in the PRORODEO arena during 2026, please fill out the form.
All nominations must be received by 3 p.m. (Mountain Time) Sept. 22, 2026, or earlier (NO EXCEPTIONS).
Eligible voters are the top 25 timed-event contestants in the PRCA World Standings (TDR, SW, TR, SR) and top 25 contestants in Bareback and Saddle Bronc for Pick Up Man Horse as of Sept. 30, 2026.
Eligible voters will receive an email via Survey Monkey. The final vote begins 8 a.m. (Mountain Time) Oct. 2nd and closes 4 p.m. (Mountain Time) Oct. 9 2026.
To be in the final voting all horses MUST have up to date registration AND ownership with the AQHA when the nomination is sent in to qualify (NO EXCEPTIONS).
