Are You Still Revenue-Sharing?

The Plan Sponsor Council of America’s 61st Annual Survey of Profit Sharing and 401(k) Plans finds half of plans use an institutional pricing menu while a third use a combination of institutional pricing and revenue sharing.  Today, 17% of plans use it, down from 21% in 2014.

A NAPA-Net reader recently commented, “While I have an inkling of the trends with respect to revenue sharing, I'd like to understand what's really happening”.  So, this week, we’d like you to “share” what you’re seeing with revenue sharing.
1.Do the plans you work with use/participate in revenue-sharing?
2.Has that changed in the past two years?
3.Are the plans you are working with using "clean" share classes?
4.Are you actively promoting change away from revenue-sharing?
5.On a completely different topic - one of the big attractions for the Super Bowl - one that has "rescued" the event when the games weren't close, and that has made it complicated to take a break when they were - is the commercials.  We haven't seen them yet, but you now have - so which ONE was your favorite?
6.With apologies to a certain commercial from the past, sometimes it's hard to pick just one - so, do you have a second favorite?
7.Other comments about revenue-sharing, moves from revenue-sharing, the pros and cons of revenue-sharing, the trends in revenue-sharing, Super Bowls, Super Bowl commercials, the trends in Super Bowl commericials, or life in general?
8.What is your role working with retirement plans?
9.What size plans do you PRIMARILY work with?
10.Suggestions for future survey questions?
11.All responses are anonymous and confidential, of course - but if you'd like me to know who you are, or allow for a response, you can leave your email below...
