Broncos 50-50 Charity Raffle Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Broncos 50-50 Charity Raffle Volunteer with Wesley Mission Queensland.

We are excited to be a chosen charity partner for the 2020 Broncos Season at the first home game at Suncorp Stadium on Friday, March 20. This is an opportunity for Wesley Mission Queensland to strengthen our profile within the community and raise funds for those in need by taking part in the 50-50 Charity Raffle.

What is a 50-50 Charity Raffle?
The 50-50 Charity Raffle is a not-for-profit fundraising product operated by the 50-50 Foundation. It is the Foundation's aim to raise significant funds for charities and good causes by partnering with sporting clubs and teams, event owners and charity partners to host fundraising raffles.

20% of the 50-50 Charity Raffle jackpot raised during the home game will be donated to Wesley Mission Queensland.

What will volunteers be doing?
We are looking for 70 volunteers to assist with selling 50-50 raffle tickets and distribute Wesley Mission merchandise.

The schedule on Friday, March 20 is as follows:

3:45 pm	Arrive at Suncorp Stadium***
4:00 pm	Volunteers gathering at Caxton street end entrance
4:15 pm	Mandatory Briefing
6:00 pm	Raffle selling and giveaways
7:05 pm	Kick-off and selling raffle tickets
8:00 pm	Complete selling and head back to volunteers' briefing room
8:20 pm	Volunteers depart Suncorp Stadium***

What to wear?
We ask that all volunteers wear the following:

Footwear	Enclosed comfy flat shoes
Bottom	Pants, jeans, shorts (must be knee-length)
Top	White Tshirt
Head	Wesley Mission Queensland will provide a cap

***Please note that for this match:

Volunteers will have to pay for their own transport or parking
We have not been allocated tickets for our volunteers. If you purchase a ticket for the match you are able to stay for the rest of the game.

What Happens Next?
If you are interested in helping out, over 18 years of age, and happy to approach people attending the game to sell raffle tickets and hand out giveaways, please complete this registration form.

Once we receive your information our Community Fundraising and Events Coordinator, Natalie Godbold, will be in regular communication with you in the lead up to the game and provide a full briefing to you on the day.

I understand that as a volunteer with Wesley Mission Queensland that I will be expected to:

Be ready for my shift at Suncorp Stadium at 3:45 pm on Friday the 20th of March, and stay to assist in the event until 8:20 pm.
Follow the directions as outlined in the onsite volunteer briefing at the event.
Interact positively with staff, volunteers, and the general public.
Notify the Community Fundraising and Events coordinator promptly if I am not able to volunteer at the event.
