Welcome to the DRIVE S(AI)FE Industry Survey
DRIVE S(AI)FE is a national initiative exploring how driver fatigue can be identified earlier, through the integration of AI, human factors, and real-world operational data. The project is funded by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) and delivered by Opposite, a consulting firm of organisational psychologists and human factors safety specialists with over a decade of work in transport safety. This short survey gathers firsthand perspectives on how fatigue is experienced and managed across the heavy vehicle industry - what's working, what isn't, and where AI-based tools could genuinely support drivers and operators rather than burden them. Your input will directly shape the project's direction. Responses are confidential and reported in aggregate only. The survey takes approximately 8–12 minutes to complete.
