Rubber Derivatives Playbook Webinar 2

Natural rubber is a processed material obtained from the latex of Hevea Brasiliensis trees and is used to manufacture different grades of rubber. Much of the rubber is used in production of automotive tyres. Worldwide consumption for natural rubber has increased steadily and the Asian story continues to drive demand for the raw material.

Rubber trade plays an important role in the rise of Singapore as a key financial centre where many of the established local banks were seeded from rubber trade. With over 100 years of rubber trade on local shores, Singapore formed its role as a leading global rubber market for price discovery, with SICOM as the platform for international rubber trade.

Rubber Derivatives which are closely linked to the physical trade presents many trading and risk management opportunities. DI2I is running an educational and awareness creation campaign which includes a series of papers forming part of a Rubber Derivatives Playbook. These can be found by clicking here.
