Share how your business is reducing single-use items. Your actions matter! Reducing single-use items supports York Region’s vision of a world where nothing goes to waste and advances the circular economy.

York Region is interested in learning from local businesses taking action to reduce or eliminate single-use items from their day-to-day operations. This includes taking steps to eliminate single-use items like plastic cutlery, napkins, takeout containers and straws; or providing an innovative business solution or service that helps others reduce single-use items like a recycling system for takeout containers, deposit return service for containers and cups, or operating a refillery or bulk store.
