The San Antonio Chamber, in partnership with the City of San Antonio and the Aviation Department, has been diligently working to increase air service to and from San Antonio International Airport. This is a critical initiative for our 2015 Chairman of the Board, Henry Cisneros, and one that we know is very important to the business community and our future economic development. Increased air service and nonstop flights to key destinations from San Antonio is critical to our continued growth and success as a business community and tourism destination.
We are asking for your time and assistance in filling out a brief survey regarding your company’s flight travel data and needs. Currently we are pursuing a near-term opportunity of creating nonstop service from San Antonio to Boston, and this pursuit is part of a greater Air Service Development Strategy to ensure our community has the air connectedness it needs. We will be reaching back out to you in the Fall with a more comprehensive survey that will help our team build-out future destination targets, but this survey is currently focused on your current and possible future travel to Boston if nonstop service were available.
