The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) – working with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and other trucking industry stakeholders – is researching advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) technologies, relating to awareness, deployment rates, perspectives, and concerns.  Results of this survey — which is part of a one-year follow-up to our original baseline research — will be reported through the ADAS fleet adoption program, Tech-Celerate Now, to support industry safety goals.   

Tech-Celerate Now — launched in February 2020 — includes the following ADAS performance categories jointly identified by government and industry to improve transportation safety, new technology education, and the driving experience for truck drivers.
