The Alexandria Health Department and the City of Alexandria have published a new resource, "Tips for Using Cloth Face Coverings," to encourage proper use of and care for cloth face coverings. AHD and the City are making copies of this infographic available, free of charge, to local makers who are selling and/or donating cloth face coverings, so they can share it with their customers.

If you are a local maker who would like to include the "Tips for Using Cloth Face Coverings" resource with your orders/donations, please fill out the following form and the City and AHD will deliver copies to you.

If you are not a retailer selling or donating cloth face coverings, but would like to access this resource, it is available for download here or at alexandriava.gov/Coronoavirus

Note: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone wear cloth face coverings in public settings where other physical distancing measures would be difficult to maintain, but cloth face covers are not a replacement for staying 6 feet away from other people and meticulous hand washing.
