Wheller Gardens in Chermside is a hidden gem in Brisbane's northern suburbs. Situated in Chermside, Wheller Gardens is home to many different services, from Queensland's only children's hospice, Hummingbird House, to community therapy centres and retirement villages. It is also home to four of Wesley Mission Queensland's residential aged care homes.
St Mark's Aged Care Community
is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Residents often come together in the homely lounges to listen to music from the pianos, keyboard, or stereos and socialise with friends and family while enjoying genuine, compassionate care that appeals to various needs and lifestyles.
Cooper House Aged Care Community
boasts expansive outdoor areas with beautiful gardens, a gazebo for entertaining visitors and a children’s play area, which provide the perfect place for residents and family to gather, relax and enjoy Queensland’s balmy climate all year round.
Emmaus Village Aged Care Community
consists of five courts that share bright walkways and natural vistas. Each court has its own dining room and social gathering space, whilst the verandas are the perfect place to catch up, relax and enjoy the beautiful Queensland weather.
Parkview Aged Care Community
is known for its premier architecture and sustainable design, boasting beautiful open-plan spaces and communal areas. Parkview is a modern, award-winning aged care community specialising in palliative care. Whether its reading a book from the library, enjoying a coffee or watching a movie in the cinema, there's plenty to do at Parkview. Visitors to Parkview will regularly see dogs, cats and birds spending their retirement with residents and bringing them much joy.
Wheller Gardens is close to public transport, Westfield Chermside Shopping Centre, services, and amenities. Free parking is also available on-site.
