The EmployerOne Survey provides employers across the District of Algoma the opportunity and a platform to share their input on local workforce challenges and accomplishments in the current market. The survey also allows employers to outline potential challenges affecting their workforce in the upcoming year and beyond.

Importance of Employer Input
Your input is essential to help:
  • Inform employment and training programs and services;
  • Ensure that local employment and training programs better align with the local labour market requirements; and
  • Contribute to efforts to ensure the availability of a highly skilled and trained workforce in our Northern communities.
The end result will be a labour market snapshot of what issues and challenges are affecting your business and industry. This information is vital to implementing local strategies that can support local businesses and help them thrive and succeed locally.

Completing the Survey:
  • The survey should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
  • Please answer all questions as accurately and completely as possible.
  • Please have a person who is familiar with issues associated with hiring and your workforce issues complete the survey.
  • Although you might receive a request to complete the EmployerOne Survey from multiple sources, we ask that you complete the survey only once.
