Accord Network sign up
Welcome to the Construction Sector Accord Network – a collective of businesses, agencies and sector organisations committed to working toward a high performing sector. Your organisation can join the Network by completing this form. If you’d like more information before you sign up or have any questions, visit the Accord website or contact us at accordnetwork@mbie.govt.nz.

We recommend you use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge to complete this form.

Only one person should sign up on behalf of your organisation – some organisations will fit the definitions for multiple types, however, please only select the member type which fits your organisation's primary function.

All Network members are required to sign up to the Accord Network Pledge/s in this form. Members that are either Clients, Contractors, Specialist Trades, or Professional Services (Group 1) are also required to complete the culture and behaviour assessment.

Once you have submitted this form, your application will be assessed and a logo, certificate and assessment if applicable will be emailed to your primary contact within 10 days.

Use of information
Your responses in this sign-up form will be used to maintain a membership database within the Accord Transformation Unit (ATU) at MBIE. With the exception of publishing the name of your organisation on the Accord website, information will not be shared beyond the ATU. MBIE is subject to the Official Information Act 1982 and as such may receive requests from third parties for your information. In this event, MBIE will endeavour to keep your information confidential.

The assessment information provided by Group 1 members (ie Clients, Construction Contractors, Specialist Trades, and Professional Services) will be used to generate a report confidential to the member. This report will show where the member is meeting, not yet meeting, or exceeding minimum practice expectations for Network members. Group 1 member responses will also be aggregated by the ATU and published as group data. This information will also be used to determine areas where the Accord can better support good practice in the sector. All individual member assessment data will remain confidential to the member and the ATU.

Private information
The Privacy Act 2020 establishes certain principles with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of information about individuals by various agencies, including MBIE. It gives you rights to request access to, and correction of, the personal information MBIE holds about you. MBIE may be contacted by emailing accordnetwork@mbie.govt.nz.

Any personal information you supply to the ATU when completing this form will only be used:

  • to provide the Accord with a contact for your organisation
  • to verify that you are a legitimate respondent on behalf of your organisation; and
  • for purposes directly related to the two purposes listed above.
Personal information will not be published or shared by the ATU, although please note that MBIE is subject to the Official Information Act 1982.
