An election will take place in Alberta before May 31 2019. Through this survey Dietitians of Canada invites dietitians to help define priority issues for advocacy during this pre-election period.

There are many important issues to our profession however the impact of our advocacy will be heightened by focusing on our priorities in our communications with candidates. The issues will need to be focused on specific policy “asks”.  For example, a specific action for the issue of improving access to dietitians in a particular sector could be creation of policies requiring an assessment by a dietitian upon admission. Please consider using the comment section below each issue to provide examples of these specific actions or "asks".

Thank you for taking the time to offer your insights and expertise.
