ACRP Pilgrimage to Montgomery Alabama: Planning Survey

Thank you for your interest in the Alexandria Community Remembrance Project pilgrimage to Montgomery, Alabama. We are excited that you are interested in joining us on this journey to further recognize Joseph McCoy and Benjamin Thomas. The Pilgrimage is currently being planned for October 6-10 2022.

We will need to charter buses for the trip, organize room blocks for a hotel and plan for guides and speakers. Some group meals will be included in the package, but hotel costs and individual meals will be an additional cost. We want to make this affordable for anyone who wishes to join.

Initial estimates based on numerous assumptions place the personal cost of the trip with the round-trip bus fare around $500. The hotel room would cost around $140 a night, or approximately $420 for three nights. The committee hopes to have a reception and/or dinner as part of the package.
