Confederate Street Renaming Feedback Form |
On September 28, 2023, the City Council Naming Committee proposed to re-name Jordan Street, Early Street, Frost Street, Forrest Street, and Breckinridge Street, each of which are named for Confederate officers. The new names would honor the individuals and stories of African Americans from the 1800s era and/or re-frame an existing name with new meaning. Please provide your feedback on the recommendations.
