1. Welcome to the Blueprint for Australian Agriculture survey
Thank you for agreeing to take part in this survey. The purpose of the survey is to identify what you believe are the key issues and challenges facing the agricultural sector and the wider agricultural supply chain now and in the future, and your thoughts on the opportunities and solutions to achieving a strong and sustainable future.
In short, we're giving you the opportunity to have your say on the future of our industry.
Your response to this survey will feed directly into the development of the Blueprint for Australian Agriculture – a document which will set out the road map for the future of the agricultural sector and its supply chain, based on what you and other farmers, transporters, processors, retailers, agribusinesses, NRM groups, agricultural educators and others within rural communities have told us.
This questionnaire contains questions about the key issues, opportunities and risks, potential solutions and, perhaps most importantly, your vision for where you want to see agriculture and the supply chain in the future – when the next generation are running the farm, the trucking business, the local consultancy or agricultural-dependent business and so on.
We hope that by gaining your vital input, we will be able to piece together what the sector as a whole believes is fundamental to success, and set out a ‘Blueprint’ for the sector in achieving this.
