What's Your Perspective on Non-Pecuniary Factors?

As October wound to a close, the Labor Department unveiled its Final Rule on Financial Factors in Selecting Plan Investments.  Now, with a change in Administrations, it’s future may be limited, but the final rule provided a somewhat different take on ESG investments. 

This week, we’d like to know what you think of the final rule.

Setting aside fiduciary issues/reluctance, surveys have found that, despite intereste expressed in ESG options by participants, when offered (and that's still a minority of plans), they tend NOT to take advantage (an exception - participants in non-profits).  Why do you suppose that is (check all that apply)?

Other comments about the ESG proposed rule, the final rule (that doesn't mention ESG), concerns about ESG investing, concerns about the LACK of ESG investing, the current "fluidity" regarding the definition of ESG, the notion that one day it's all going to be ESG investing,  the response - or lack thereof - by participants when they have the ESG option, or life in general?
