Consultation on draft questionnaire and draft guidance documents for the assessment of sustainability preferences

2.To comply with upcoming obligation to integrate sustainability preferences of clients in the suitability assessment, do you find the draft Questionnaire and Guidance useful? Do you see any additional information that should be added to help financial advisors comply with their obligation?
3.What is your opinion on the distinction in the draft Questionnaire and Guidance between indications on how to comply with minimum legal requirements and indications on how to go further and implement better practices?
4.What is your opinion on having 3 different lengths of assessments to accommodate the different level of interest of clients for sustainability features of their products?
5.When the client expresses a preference for a product that contributes substantially to environmental objectives aligned with the Taxonomy Regulation, should the client be asked about the preference for specific objectives (climate change mitigation, adaptation, sustainable use and protection of water and marine resources…) during the medium assessment or during the long assessment?
6.When the client expresses a preference for a product that considers negative impacts, should the client be asked about the preference for specific principal adverse impact indicators (Greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity, water…) during the medium assessment or during the long assessment?
7.Do you think the guidance on the explanation of sustainability preferences and wider sustainability motivations is sufficient (see Annex I of the Guidance)?
8.Is the distinction between the concept of wider sustainability motivations and sustainability preferences clear enough?
9.Do you understand the methodology to match sustainability preferences and wider sustainability motivations with available financial products (see Annex II of the Guidance)? Are they any specific areas which are not clear enough (see Annex II of the Guidance)?
