Are You Big on Bitcoin?

Maybe it’s the concern about future inflation, perhaps worry about what the economic impact of COVID might be, or it could just be a growing cognizance of the rapid increase in the value of that digital currency called Bitcoin – regardless, some are now talking about it as a retirement investment – and perhaps even a retirement plan investment.

In fact, a recent poll conducted by deVere Group of clients over the age of 55 found that “70% of those surveyed are already invested in digital currencies or are planning to do so this year.”

This week, we’d like to know – what are your thoughts about Bitcoin as an investment – for your own personal accounts, or perhaps as an investment option in a workplace retirement plan.  Or, considering the investment acumen of most participants, is that a bridge best left uncrossed?
