Audience / For: Parent Support Advisors / Headteachers / Deputy Headteachers / Early Years Practitioners
Facilitated by: Becky Casey and Tania Barney (Health Education Partnership)
This CPD session will look at a range of strategies to help schools and early years settings work more closely and effectively with their parents with a specific focus on health and wellbeing. We will look at barriers to parent participation and how to reach those disengaged families.  You will leave the session with an action plan to take back to your school / setting. 

To be eligible to attend this training, your school/setting needs to be registered with Healthy Schools London or Healthy Early Years London programme.
The training will help you to:
  • Help you identify and overcome barriers to parental engagement
  • Learn from best practice case studies
  • Identify key strategies to form an action plan 
  • Identify methods to measure the impact of improved parental engagement

As lunch is not provided, please either bring a packed lunch with you, or there will be time to go out and buy something.
