Our Community Transport Service (CTS) is currently seeking a team of motivated and passionate people to volunteer to help us out in the following ways:
  • Volunteer Drivers who utilise our fleet vehicles to transport clients on designated routes throughout the community. An Open C Class Queensland licence is required for this position.
  • Volunteer Driver Assistants who assist our drivers on their transport routes and provide company and support to our clients. No driver's license is required.
Full-day shifts are available Monday to Friday.  

As part of our team of dedicated and caring volunteer drivers, you will be provided with a uniform as well as training and support to perform your role efficiently and safely.

CTS empowers clients to live fulfilled lives in their homes and keep their community connections. CTS is committed to providing professional, caring support for older people living at home to help them remain independent for as long as possible. Our qualified transport team offers door-to-door services that ensure they get where they need to be. Volunteers provide transport for clients in CTS vehicles.

All our volunteers follow a COVID-19 safe work plan and provide proof that they have received their COVID-19 vaccinations before being registered.

Volunteers will also be required to have a current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance check prior to commencement. This can be applied for through Wesley Mission Queensland at no cost to you.
