The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Institute of Aging is carrying out a series of stakeholder engagement activities and consultations to inform the development of new initiatives related to research on dementia and brain health in aging. This survey is an important component in gathering input.

The research initiatives developed will include considerations for equity, diversity and inclusion, sex and gender-based analysis, inclusion of people with lived experience of dementia, and inclusion of Indigenous Communities throughout the research process, as such no questions related to these topics are included in the survey.

You are invited to participate in this survey to provide feedback on the preliminary research themes that have emerged from the consultations to date, as well as input on additional topics/themes.

Your participation in the survey is voluntary and your responses to the survey questions will be kept confidential. The data collected will be reported anonymously in aggregate form and responses will not be linked back to the respective respondents.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes of your time to complete. The survey will close May 17, 2021.
