Find out if you are eligible to receive free employability support...

The CIPD Parent Returner Programme, funded by the Government Equalities Office, aims to address the challenges faced by both returners and employers in Yorkshire and the Humber. If you are a parent and have been out of work for twelve months or more than you could be eligible for the free support available on the programme, which includes:
  • 6-12 weeks of employability mentoring through the CIPD's Steps Ahead Mentoring programme, where you will be matched with a local People Professional with experience of hiring and recruitment.
  • Attendance at our parent peer support event on Sunday 15 March 2020 at the Theatre Royal, York.  This event will be hosted by Pregnant then Screwed Live and will bring together some of the funniest, most inspirational women around to help you rebuild your confidence and navigate the world of motherhood and work.
  • Upon accepting an offer of employment, you will then also receive extended mentoring support for a period of 3 months (provided that your offer of employment is on or before 31 May 2020).
If this sounds of interest to you, then check below to see if you are eligible to take part. If you meet all the requirements, you will be directed to our online portal where you can register for the programme. Don't delay, as places are limited.
