Car clubs could reduce the number of vehicles in the city and encourage fewer car journeys by offering a flexible approach to vehicle ownership. This is being considered as part of the council's commitment to improve air quality through sustainable transport, meaning that people can live healthier lives.

Your views will help us to understand whether there is a demand for a car club in Portsmouth and if people would have a preference about how this would operate.

Improving access to cleaner and greener travel options is an essential part of delivering our ambitious vision for travel in Portsmouth and enables people to easily travel locally, regionally and nationally for work and pleasure.
