Purpose of Survey
Charlotte County is seeking funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program to address affordable housing and community development needs. To qualify, program activities must meet at least one of three HUD national objectives: (1) benefit low-to-moderate income persons/households; (2) prevent or eliminate slums or blight; or (3) address an urgent threat to community health or welfare.
This survey is divided into four sections:
1. Demographics (Responses are completely anonymous.)
2. Community Conditions
3. Community Needs for HUD Funds
4. Fair Housing
