Our residential aged care community at Sinnamon Park is seeking volunteers to assist in welcoming visitors to our aged care communities.   
 
Due to COVID-19 restrictions and the safety of our residents and workforce we ask that volunteers expressing an interest in this role meet with the following criteria:
  • Have received the 2020 influenza vaccination (proof of this vaccination is required)
  • Have NOT arrived from overseas or Victoria in the preceding 14 days
  • Are healthy and well (temperatures are taken on arrival).
The concierge role will comprise of tasks such as:
  • Welcoming visitors to the aged care community
  • Liaising with residents, staff, volunteers, contractors, and other visitors
  • Reviewing each visitor against the entry criteria
  • Provide access to visitors that comply with relevant criteria
  • Restrict access to visitors that do not comply and provide an explanation as to why
  • Document visitor access for those who are able to visit and also those denied entry
  • Report any feedback or requests through to the appropriate staff.
This volunteer role is suitable for people who have well developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and display a calm, caring and empathetic manner.

Volunteering shifts are available seven days a week between the hours of 9am - 4pm on a roster system. Time frames are flexible to suit your availability.
