The Workplace Gender Equality Act, 2012 introduced ongoing reporting and compliance measures for businesses with over 100 employees, to assist employers build a long-term picture of how to improve gender equality in their workplace.
On May 15 the Australian Government announced the commencement of consultation on workplace gender equality reporting requirements with the aim of identifying opportunities to streamline reporting requirements under the Act.
DCA will be making a submission to the Inquiry and would like to hear from members, to ensure our submission reflects your concerns and issues with the reporting requirements of the legislation.
Please note, organisations will not be identified individually in DCA’s submission – our aim is for the submission to represent the collective views of our membership.
Submissions are due by Thursday 31 July 2014 and this survey will close at COB Thursday 17 July 2014.
