About the Survey
Help shape the future of Spencer Highway Corridor The Reimagine Corridor Study Program is a key part of Commissioner Adrian Garcia's Revive2Thrive Initiative. Revive2Thrive means that all Precinct 2's investments are based on what the community wants and needs. The goal is to improve safety, mobility, and overall quality of life along the corridor along 13.7 miles of vital transportation infrastructure spanning Deer Park, Houston, La Porte, Pasadena, and South Houston.

We want your input on the proposed design alternatives. Each alternative balances safety, mobility, and access differently. Please tell us what matters most to you.

Throughout the planning process, we received feedback from the community about improving conditions on Spencer Highway.

One of the ways to improve safety is to change the way people make turns on and off the highway. Below are some options that show how medians can be used to improve safety conditions and reduce potential crashes.

We also received feedback from pedestrians and bikers about changes that could be made to improve conditions.

One of the ways to improve safety is to add sidewalks or buffers between the road and pedestrians. Another way is to add shared use paths, which would include pedestrian and bike amenities being combined.
