The Department of Homeland Security has purchased 1.6 billion (with a “b”) rounds of ammunition.

That’s enough ammo to wage a 20-year war.

Homeland Security Chief, Janet Napolitano, says they’re simply “buying in bulk.”

But is that the whole story?

Some people think the DHS may be stockpiling bullets in preparation for a global currency collapse. With the United States’ debt at $16 trillion and climbing – it’s not such a far-fetched theory.

Others believe it’s simply a “back-door” way to restrict the supply of bullets to gun owners. If that’s the case, it’s working extremely well. Local police departments all over the country are being forced to pay inflated prices for ammo… others must now wait 6 to 9 months to take delivery.

This is your opportunity to let your voice be heard.

* 1. Do you believe DHS is simply "buying bullets in bulk" to save money?

* 2. If Secretary Napolitano does not come forward and share the real reason why her agency is stockpiling millions of rounds of bullets – and causing shortages for police departments all over the country, should Congress act to force her to stop buying bullets until we know the truth?
