The Department of Homeland Security has purchased 1.6 billion (with a “b”) rounds of ammunition.
That’s enough ammo to wage a 20-year war.
Homeland Security Chief, Janet Napolitano, says they’re simply “buying in bulk.”
But is that the whole story?
Some people think the DHS may be stockpiling bullets in preparation for a global currency collapse. With the United States’ debt at $16 trillion and climbing – it’s not such a far-fetched theory.
Others believe it’s simply a “back-door” way to restrict the supply of bullets to gun owners. If that’s the case, it’s working extremely well. Local police departments all over the country are being forced to pay inflated prices for ammo… others must now wait 6 to 9 months to take delivery.
