Introduction:

In fall 2025, the Student Task Force held its first virtual educational event for undergraduate medical students. The event was highly successful, and we are therefore pleased to continue with a second edition in fall 2026. This year’s topics will include Headache, Peripheral Nervous System, Muscle & Neuromuscular Junction Disorders, and Neuro-ophthalmology.

The speakers have been appointed by the Chairs of the EAN Scientific Panels and Task Forces to ensure high-quality content and strong interactivity throughout the course. Pre‑registration for this course is mandatory.

Participants who attend all sessions will receive a certificate of attendance.

I. Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible to apply if you:
  • are a Student member from an EAN Full Institutional Member country with more than 1 year of medical school completed
  • are a Student member studying in EAN Corresponding Institutional Member countries (Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauretania, Morocco, Nepal, Palestine, Tunisia, South Africa, Syria) or in low and lower-middle income countries from sub-Saharan Africa
Please be aware that you must have an active Student membership in order to register for the course. Approval of your membership may take up to 10 working days and we advise that you submit your complete membership application at least 3 weeks before the deadline for applications for this event.


II. Application Requirements
  • Proof of completing (at least) 1 year of medical school
  • Brief motivation letter (max. 200 words)
  • Application must be submitted by deadline of 11 August 2026
