Calling everyone who has experience with high blood pressure in pregnancy!
High blood pressure can happen to any woman during pregnancy. It can start before pregnancy, during pregnancy, or after the baby is born.
Some women with high blood pressure are not aware that they have it as they feel fine. However, high blood pressure can also make a mother feel very unwell. She may have very bad headaches, seizures (fits), or problems with other parts of the body. It can also affect the baby. The baby may be born too early, too small, or become very sick or die.
