Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Parks and Recreation Boards and Committees
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Parks and Recreation Division utilizes a variety of external advisory groups as one way to work with Michiganders for the Division's mission to acquire, protect, and preserve the natural and cultural features of Michigan’s unique resources, and to provide access to land and water based recreation and educational opportunities. Advisory boards shall act in an advisory capacity to the Governor, DNR Department Director, and Divisions to provide advice and recommendations.
The purpose of this application is to enable the DNR and committee members to make appropriate choices for service to their respective committee.
Applicants interested in serving as a committee member are requested to read and understand the expectations of committee leadership and to submit a completed application along with a resume. Letters of recommendation may be provided for consideration at the applicant’s discretion.
