Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre Walking Group - 94/112 Fryar Road, Eagleby 4207.

We are currently seeking people interested in volunteering their time to lead our Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre Walk and Talk Group each Thursday at 7am for eight weeks starting on Thursday 6th October 2002.

Group Leaders take the lead from 7:15am for a 30 to 40-minute leisurely walk, then return to the centre for refreshments. The session will have been completed by 8:45am.

Group Leaders ensure the walks are conducted safely and report any concerns to Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre staff whilst supporting and encouraging ongoing participation by group members who are generally aged fifty and over.

If you are interested in becoming a Group Leader, please get in touch as we would value your support.

While leading the Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre Walking Group, you will be expected to:
  • Act in accordance with Wesley Mission Queensland's Code of Conduct
  • Show integrity and accountability in your actions, being prompt, reliable, and following instructions
  • Seek advice from your supervisor if you have any questions or concerns.
