Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre Walking Group - 94/112 Fryar Road, Eagleby 4207.

The Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre Walking Group will be meeting each Thursday at 7am for eight weeks starting on Thursday the 28th of April.  

Volunteers will start at 6:30am for setting up then at 7am take the lead for a 30 to 40 minute leisurely walk, then return to the centre for refreshments.   The session will have been completed by 9am.  

The walking group will be aimed at people aged 50 and over.  Volunteers ensure the walks are conducted in a safe manner and report any concerns to Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre staff whilst supporting and encouraging ongoing participation by group members.

While leading the Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre Walking Group, you will be expected to:
  • Act in accordance with Wesley Mission Queensland's Code of Conduct
  • Show integrity and accountability in your actions, being prompt, reliable, and following instructions
  • Seek advice from your supervisor if you have any questions or concerns.
