This is America Saves Week – and while most of us think about, and help others save all year long, this week has been set aside as “an annual event to encourage more Americans to save effectively.”

More specifically, America Saves Week “encourages Americans to “take the pledge” to save, identify a savings goal such as college tuition, a car, or emergency fund, then create a plan to reach it”.
