Welcome and thank you for participating in the unincorporated Monsey, Hillcrest, and Western Ramapo Comprehensive Plan Update Community Survey!
The Town of Ramapo has initiated an update to its Comprehensive Plan for the unincorporated Monsey, Hillcrest, and Western Ramapo areas. The Plan aims to reflect the needs of today and to identify a vision for Ramapo's future. The Comprehensive Plan update will create a framework for future decision making across various topic areas including land use, economic development, infrastructure, transportation, the environment, housing, and more. The Town has already completed its Comprehensive Plan Update for the Northeast Ramapo Corridor Area, which was adopted in 2022. The remaining portion of the Unincorporated Town of Ramapo includes all areas outside of village boundaries within the Town. Please see the Study Area Map below.
The purpose of this survey is to gather information about Ramapo from a broad group of community members, residents, business owners, and other stakeholders. This information will help inform the overall vision and goals for the Town and help shape the Comprehensive Plan update.
Please note that this survey represents just one of several public engagement activities for gathering community input. Visit the project webpage www.Ramapo.org to learn more. Survey respondents are self-selecting and the survey results are not statistically valid, but your responses can still provide valuable guidance and direction for the Comprehensive Plan effort!
