2018 Facilities Management Industry Census

BRANZ (Building Research Association of New Zealand) is New Zealand's independent and impartial research, testing and consulting organisation. We work with the building and construction industry to provide better buildings for New Zealanders. The BRANZ Incorporated Society is a not-for-profit investor in industry good research and knowledge transfer. We invest in research and information to achieve benefits for New Zealanders by improving the knowledge base of the building and construction industry.

BRANZ has partnered with the Facilities Management Association of New Zealand (FMANZ) to conduct a nationwide census of the Facilities Management (FM) industry. We are seeking a comprehensive understanding of the FM industry, considering the perspective of FM practitioners, their clients (building owners) and suppliers of goods and services. The census provides a snapshot of current trends and insights, which will create a greater understanding of the industry. Aggregated and anonymised results will be presented in a public report, and will be used to direct future work by FMANZ and BRANZ.

All responses will be treated as confidential. You will not be required to provide any identifying information, however you may choose to participate in a prize draw or subsequent case study, which does require your contact details. Completion of this survey is taken as informed consent for your participation. The survey may take up to 15 minutes to complete, and you are able to return to previous questions to change your response prior to submitting the survey.
