Introduction

The FWC is responsible for managing Florida's fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being and for the benefit of people. This often involves enacting and enforcing rules and regulations governing human activity in many areas - such as hunting and fishing.

The FWC is considering a proposed rule change to revise regulations regarding importing or possessing carcasses or certain parts therefrom of any species in the deer family (family Cervidae; for example, deer, elk moose and caribou) originating outside of Florida.
