AGB’s 2020 National Conference on Trusteeship, held in Washington DC, will be the 100th annual convening of the association’s largest and longest-standing gathering. The meeting is open to college, university, multi-campus system, and institutionally-related foundation board members, representatives to the board, and senior staff who work with boards. The conference comprises an educational program, delivering learning on best practices and promising new approaches to challenges affecting colleges and universities, as well as those confronting boards themselves.

We invite session proposals for the 2020 National Conference on Trusteeship that are creative, interactive, relevant, and deliver actionable learning.

We seek proposals for sessions in several formats. Additional weight will be given to proposed sessions that feature at least one board member (current or former) in a facilitator or co-facilitator role. By submitting a proposal all facilitators agree to, if selected: a) engage in good faith with AGB staff throughout the planning process and through delivery of the session; and b) register for the conference and cover related travel expenses.
If you have any questions, please email: programs@agb.org.
