GWS GIANTS - Local Hero Program |
Do you want to be the GIANTS Local Hero?
We are looking for talented athletes who would like to take on the challenge of the world’s most demanding sport – Australian Rules Football. Age groups as follows:
* Under 17 (born 1998)
* Under 16 (born 1999)
* Under 15 (born 2000)
* Under 14 (born 2001)
The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS will be running a program to assist in the identification and education of athletes in the local area. You will receive a Certificate of Attendance and a free meal for participation in the afternoon.
You need to register your interest using this online portal. Once completed, you will be emailed a document that will need to be signed by a parent or guardian and brought with you on the day.
The evening starts at 5pm and will be as follows: (parents welcome to stay and observe)
5:00pm Registration
5.15pm Performance assessment including speed, agility and jump performance.
6:00pm Skill session with GIANTS Academy Coach – Jason Saddington
6.45pm Meal provided
7.15pm Education Presentation
8pm Certificate Presentation
Cost is FREE. Come along and see what you are capable of. All welcome.
