ESE Survey: Hormone Replacement Therapy Practices

The European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) is dedicated to advancing endocrine care across Europe and the globe. In support of the endocrine community, ESE has identified the need to expand the knowledge and understanding of the approach and practices around prescribing hormone replacement therapy to women transitioning into menopause.

This survey aims to gain feedback from a wide range of clinicians and other healthcare professionals regarding their typical approach to prescribing hormone replacement therapy (HRT), the results of which will help us to prioritise ESE's objectives and activities in the field.

The survey has been developed by the ESE Focus Area on Reproductive & Developmental Endocrinology, in collaboration with the authors of the newly published ESE Clinical Guideline on postmenopausal hormone therapy. It should take 3-5 minutes to complete, and is open to responses until 29 March 2026.

The shape and success of ESE's activities depends very much on your feedback and input, and we thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey!
