Dear reader,

Thank you for your interest in the TEFAF Museum Restoration Fund 2024.

TEFAF
Established in 1988, The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF) is widely regarded as the world’s preeminent organization for fine art, antiques, and design. TEFAF runs two fairs internationally - TEFAF Maastricht, which covers 7,000 years of art history, and TEFAF New York, focused on Modern and Contemporary Art & Design.

TEFAF Museum Restoration Fund
The TEFAF Museum Restoration Fund (TMRF) was established in 2012 and since then has supported significant restorations by internationally renowned museums all over the world. Motivated by a desire from TEFAF’s community to give back to the museums and the public, it aims “to support and promote the professional restoration and related scholarly research of significant museum artworks from around the world and through the ages”. Each year, a maximum of €50.000 will be allocated to projects. The Committee of independent experts usually selects two winners to receive each € 25,000 to support their restoration project.

The Committee
Rachel Kaminsky (USA), Dr Kenson Kwok (Singapore), Carol Pottasch (NL), Ashok Roy (UK), and Sir Nicholas Penny (UK) make up the international committee of independent experts which will make the decision for the grant of the Fund.
