LGC Investment Rising Star Award Nominations 2023

You have three choices for Award nominations to submit. Winners will be announced live at the LGC Investment & Pensions Summit on the evening of Thursday 07 September 2023. You may submit as many entries as you wish, and entries are free.

You can see the criteria for each nomination below and by selecting which category(ies) you wish to enter below and proceeding in the form. Nominations can be made either directly by the individual in question, or on behalf of them (it is better to let them know they are being nominated than to keep it quiet!).

The LGC Investment Rising Stars seek to recognise and identify the rising stars within the LGPS. This will assist with talent spotting and succession planning therefore developing the managerial and political leaders of tomorrow.

The individuals entered for this award will be recognised as the LGPS’ exceptional newcomers and up-and-coming talent. They are making change happen, taking difficult decisions and asking important questions. The part they are playing now in ensuring the pensions are delivered will help to prepare them for the challenges of tomorrow.

The individual may have performed outstandingly in the pandemic response, but this award is not designed exclusively to reward a single outstanding contribution in this regard.

The individual needs to still be working for their organisation or still be a serving Councillor or pensions board member at the time of the announcement of the Award on 07 September 2023.
