Volunteers at Hyland House Respite Centre support members in various ways such as:
  • Social engagement
  • Creative activities
  • Assisting at mealtimes
  • General help with outings and transport.
All whilst contributing to a warm and inclusive environment! Various weekday shifts are available between 8.00am and 4.00pm, offering flexibility to suit different schedules.

Hyland House Respite Centre is a welcoming and rewarding place to volunteer, where you will meet many wonderful people from various backgrounds and learn new skills that may assist you personally and professionally.

  • Volunteers must have a current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance before commencement. You can apply for this through Wesley Mission Queensland at no cost to you.
