Introduction

Dear Colleague,

We are conducting survey research funded by the 2017 NEAIR Research Grant.

Our study focuses on the efficiency and effectiveness of IR/IE office projects through the application of a four-quadrant framework. Please watch this short video (2:31) summarizing the four-quadrant framework and instructions.
  1. We expect one survey response per person (potentially multiple responses per institution).
    • We will analyze multiple responses per institution by position rank (e.g., department head, professional staff, etc.).
  2. While the survey respondent should be a member of an IR/IE office, the respondent does not need to be an AIR member.
We would be very grateful if you could allow us about 15 minutes of your time to participate in the study. In appreciation of completing the survey, you will be entered into a drawing to receive one of 40 Amazon online gift certificate worth $25 each. Based on an estimated survey response rate, your chance of winning is approximately 1 in 4.

The closing date for the survey is Wednesday, January 31st.

We will present the findings at the 2018 NEAIR Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, PA and potentially at the 2019 AIR Forum in Denver, CO. We are hoping that the results will enable you to compare your office operation with other institutions and also develop strategies for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of your office.

If you have any questions about the study, please do not hesitate to contact Honda at (207) 621-3216.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
