Hamilton Immigrant Survey 2025

Immigrants make Hamilton a more diverse and vibrant community – and your story is an important part of that. Hamilton Immigration Partnership Council (HIPC) wants to hear from you about your experiences, challenges, needs, and contributions in Hamilton. Your responses will guide how organizations work together to improve services and experiences for immigrants in Hamilton.

This survey is for all immigrants in Hamilton who are age 16 or older. This includes anyone born outside Canada who is now living, working, or studying in this community, such as permanent residents, Canadian citizens, refugees, temporary residents, seasonal agricultural workers, refugee claimants, and international students.

Please complete this survey by June 20. It should take about 10 to 15 minutes.

You do not have to provide your name to do the survey. When you finish the survey, you can choose to enter your name into a draw for a gift card to Hamilton's farmers market or a local grocery store, which you need to pick up in-person. If you provide your name, it will not be connected to your survey answers and will only be used for the draw.

Completing the survey is voluntary, and you can skip any question you do not want to answer or stop and close the browser window any time you like. However, we cannot remove your answers once you submit them because we will not be able to separate your answers from the rest of the data.

The information you provide is confidential. Only the HIPC staff will have access to the survey data. All responses to this survey will be anonymous and will be summarized in reports, infographics, and presentations. They will be available at www.hamiltonimmigration.ca.

Each person may react differently when reflecting on the questions. If you need support at any time, please call the Canadian Mental Health Association Hamilton at (905) 521-0090.

You can find more information about your rights as a survey participant in the information and consent letter. For questions or to complete the survey by phone, email or on paper, contact us at Immigration.Partnership@hamilton.ca or call us at 905-546-2424 x 4359.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey and helping to make a difference in your community!
