Welcome to the 2022 SODA Data & Storage Trends survey.
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey conducted by Linux Foundation Research in partnership with SODA Foundation, an open source project with a focus on data management and storage.
This survey should take no more than 10 minutes of your time.
This survey will provide insights into challenges, gaps, and trends for data and storage in the era of cloud native, edge, AI, and 5G. We hope these insights will serve as a guide to the SODA technical direction and ecosystem.
This survey will provide insights into:
What are the data & storage challenges faced by end users?
What are the key trends shaping the data & storage industry?
Which open source data & storage projects are users interested in?
What cloud strategies are being adopted by businesses?
We will summarize the survey data and share the findings of the report later this year. The summary report will be published on SODA Foundation and Linux Foundation Research websites. In addition, we will be producing an in-depth report of the survey which will be shared with all survey participants who provide their email address.
As a thank you for participating in this survey, a code will be displayed at the completion of this survey which can be used for a 25% discount on any Linux Foundation training course or certification exam as long as you start the course or certification before the end of September 2022. The complete Linux Foundation catalog or courses and certifications can be found here: https://training.linuxfoundation.org/full-catalog/
