Your thoughts about our updated proposals
The Southsea Coastal Scheme stretches for 4.5km from Old Portsmouth to Eastney, and will help to reduce the risk to 8,077 homes and 704 businesses from major flood events. The existing defences are at the end of their useful lifespans and will not protect the area from predicted sea level rises.
Following our major consultation in summer 2018, we have revised our plans further in response to your feedback. We now want to know what your think about the updated proposals before we submit our planning application in the spring.
